THE CONTORTIONISTS.! How to turn yourself inside out and back to front as well as balance the kitchen table on one foot while tumbling a bicycle on the other I just cannot imagine! Other acrobatic feats may be within my talents with 100 years training but the abilities of those bendy performers just won't be happen ing with my body EVER!!!.

    Contortionists!
It must be incredible to be able to scratch your back with your teeth!
It's just amazing to watch them twist around!

I watch in awe of anything they do. The costumes and makeup are truely incredible. How the performers can have the strength and agility to perform such acts is amazing. And to top it all off, they enchant you with their storyline. These shows are not to be missed!!!!

As a keen fan of Cirque de Soleil, having seen performances on TV many times, I never tire of these exciting, awe inspiring, wonderful acts. Seeing a live performance of Le Grande Cirque would be an absolute dream come true. A chance to escape, even for a few hoursinto this thrilling, colourful, entertaining, mesmerizing, graceful, dangerous and exhilirating world would create memories for a lifetime.

As someone who has problems just performing a basic summersalt any acrobatic accomplishment is impressive. I still have to say that the work the men do on the rings is incredible, the strenth it takes to hold those positions while making it look not only effortless but also elegant is remarkable.

oh my word, am nervous at taking my 3 1/2 yr old along as can only imagine what she will think she able to tackle the following day...a bit of a contortion movement thrown in with a flip all of a swinging bar and a cartwheel to finish and so alas a new "cirque move" invented aghhhh :-)

I agree with Circusfan_13, The Wheel of Death because it is the most dangerous act in the world. I just want someone to teach me how to do the split's without hurting myself, I've been wanting to learn this for ages, so is there anyone out there who can teach me how to do this, it's one of my must do's before I fall off my mortal coil.

wow anything on the ropes completely thrills me. I did rings at school and know how hard that is but hanging from ropes and doing the body tangling feats these people put into action is beyond belief. Love every minute of it

the one where they climb up a rope/fabric/curtain and entangle themselves ....perform tricks at the top and then plummet to the ground only be stpped by entangling themselves just inches above the ground. They make it look so easy.

the aerial and trapeze artists. Anyone who balances gracefully at great heights and soars and dances through the air like they are flying really amazes me. I admire there strength, agility and dedication and think flying throught the air could be fun as well as exhiliarating, skilled and a dangerous mix all at once. I always thought it would be neat to be in a musical and sing and dance and practice like I once saw Michael Crawford do and come down from the ceiling with technical help but after much practice and tirng practice. It must be great but you need time, skill, energy and hard effort and the chance to do do it with lots of other professional people supporting each other. I'd lov eto do it if I din't have arthritis as I am small and don't weigh a lot.

i have to say high wire walkers just to be able to do that is so amazing all that balance and strength of being able to keep yourself on that wire must be so hard.

Definitely the grace, timing and courage of the trapeze artists - they are totally amazing. I also think contortionists are incredible but I get so uncomfortable looking at them at times!

I always wanted to run away and join the circus, escape from normal everyday life, so just going is like a little escape to be transported to a different world even if its only for a few hours. My favourite thing to watch is the balancing acts, how do they do that? it is so unreal, after watching such creative acts im inspired.

Four words sum it up for me: Strength, Agility, Grace and Skill!!!
And you could certainly add death-defying to the list...

High wire walkers are amazing to me, the balance they have is just incredible, don't believe me? Try walking along a curb, or for the more daring along a fence top, it is hard isn't it. Now put that 20feet up in the air, yup, the high wire act is the one for me.

The Trapeze artists amaze me most, with their accurate timing and ability to make everything look so easy. Their swinging through the "clouds" of the tent apex and joining together is truly breathtaking and spectacular.

I have always had a thing for the Wheel of Death and the Trapeze artists - mainly because deep down everyone wants to see someone screw up, but then you give a sigh of releaf when they are fine!
Circus Performers are some of the most hard working people in the world especially the smaller circus's as they will also have to put up the tent and dismantel it at the end! As most people say "I want to run away and join the Circus" I was one of them!!

I have never been to a circus even as a kid, I can imagine this would be totally amazement for me to see.
I think all of it would be my favourite

The trapeze artists amaze me. They have such agility and flexibility, as well as grace. it must take hours of training to get up to performance level.
