Return of the Rakinos Quartet – Jimjazz –- James Langabeer (saxophones, flute, and assorted wind instruments), David Lines (keyboard), Sam Giles (bass), and Trevor Thwaites (drums) . . . plus special guest on alto saxophone, Adam Larsen.

Six years ago the quartet were a regular feature at Rakinos in High street as well as at the Rakino Island Jazz Festival. Since then David and Sam have been featured with the Chris Mason-Battley group and James has featured around town in a range of contexts from jazz, contemporary improvisatory music at the Winecellar; etc., as well as various bands with Trevor.

We promise a great night of swinging jazz and contemporary arrangements by the band.
