Queenstowns premier three-day car enthusiasts weekend featuring:
- Friday Night Jacks Point social car cruise
- Saturdays Rilean public car show featuring "The Vincent Holdings" Concours de Elegance is being held at the Queestown Events Center from 10.00 - 4.00pm. All vehicles are encouraged to enter and catergories are on the web site. Some very special vehicles will be on display including Ford GT40s, Mustangs,Corvettes and Jaguars. Concours vehicles such as a 1937 Mercedes Cabrio B, 1930 V16 Cadillac, 1932 V12 Packard and 1933 V12 Lincoin. New Zealands first V8 hydrogen powered hotrod is being brought from the USA and will race on Sundays 1/8th Mile sprint.. This will be a great day for young and old to see their favourite automoblies.
- Saturday night is The Solid Gold FM Rock and Roll Dance party and dinner at Coronet Peak base building from 8pm. Featuring Tom Sharplin and the Cadillacs, with a "Grease" style Rock and Roll dance off competition with $5000 mystery prize up for grabs.
- Sunday is Race day with the Braziers Scaffolding 1/8th mile Sprint along a Wakatipu country road which is open to the public and is featuring a 2008 Dodge Charger, Ford Gt 40, Trans Am series Corvette race car as well as cars from the show.
