Steve Abel and The Chrysalids, described by the New Zealand Herald as a “kiwi supergroup,” has a potent alternative and pop pedigree; resulting in a rich collaboration that is nothing less than completely unique. This was most recently evident on Abel’s second album released in 2008 to much acclaim:

The Dominion Post described FLAX HAPPY as "Sublime”; The Lumiere said “fierce and tender – beautifully compelling"; while Cheeseontoast.co.nz stated simply "Wonderful. Actually, beyond wonderful!"

With Steve himself currently resident in Geneva, it is a welcome return to his country for him, and a very rare opportunity for you to indulge in the band live - a stunning lineup featuring Geoff Maddock (Goldenhorse) and Pluto's Milan Borich and Mike Hall.
