Pack a picnic and head down to the Gardens for this Festival favourite – an annual highlight of Hamilton 's summer! Slip of the Tongue returns with their enormously popular annual outdoor production. Look forward to lots of colour and laughter as dusk falls and the drama and intrigue unfold. Or for a truly memorable experience get up - or stay up - for the dawn show.
This production will be the 20th anniversary of Slip of the Tongue's first Hamilton Gardens Summer Shakespeare - 'The Tempest', Directed by Alec Forbes, February 1989. At the 2009 Hamilton Gardens Festival 'The Taming of the Shrew' will be played as a costume farce presented by an Edwardian travelling carnival troupe.
