On Sunday 22 February there will be a chance for all Hamiltonians to participate in a large temporary sculpture work called Collect, Create and Roll.
Bring along your used plastic bags (all sizes and colours) and work with the artists to loop the bags onto the boardwalk rails to create the largest plastic bag fence in New Zealand. The mass of bags will blow and rustle in the wind; a spectacle of colour and movement.
Be sure to come back on Sunday 1 March to help transform the artwork, the bags will be removed from the boardwalk and rolled into an enormous ball for display.
