Boh goes it alone, and it's as stellar as ever!

The wonderfully talented Boh Runga heads back home from LA for two solo shows packing plenty of pop power and a touch of sweet reminiscence.

She may now reside in the Los Angeles smog and sprawl, but the divine Boh Runga is heading back to New Zealand for two homecoming gigs in February that will leave fans in no doubt that she is still the queen of killer local lady pop.

Armed with new songs from her first solo album, due for release in April, and fan favourites from her career with Stellar*, Boh and her hand-picked band play two shows only - Wellington's Bodega on 13 February, and Christchurch's Al's Bar on 14 February.

"I'm excited to be coming home in a New Zealand summer. I'm looking forward to playing in Wellington and in my hometown Christchurch. I haven't played in either city for quite some time. I'd like to have a good look around, it will be wonderful to see what's changed".

After catching up with my family and friends I would put on my fave dvd of NZ Music "Natures Best" , crank up the volume, and watch all of the classic NZ songs while sipping on a glass of NZs finest wine!!! BLISS!!!!!

Apart from the obvious of huge hugs with family and friends then grab a couple of close buddies, pack a huge picnic basket with good ole Kiwi Kai...i.e. smoked mussels, marmite and of course local wine and head to my favourite beach in the world Karekare!

First thing i always do is catch up with my friends and family and then chill. It's usually been a full on adventure whist away so it's good to relax...

Go to bed and sleep for a week as I would have been out and about enjoying myself while I was away

I usually go all out and see and do everything when I go away, so coming back home first means shutting all the curtains and reveling in the deliciously familiar softness and smell of my own bed!

I would invite all my friends and family to a barby in the garden so that I could reconnect and reground myself as soon as possible

If I was returning to NZ after being away I'd Phone my mum while having a cold steiny!

Have a picnic and actually lie on the grass - I swear every park in Europe has 'do not sit on the grass' signs OR men walking round in guns!

First I would catch up on any great NZ music i'd been missing while I was away... then stock up on pineapple lumps!

The first thing I would be doing after a long stint away is catch up with whanau.
