The NZ Classic Motorcycle Racing Register Inc is holding the 30th Classic Festival 2009 at the Pukekohe Park Raceway at Pukekohe, Auckland.
This years guest of honour is renowned Grand Prix Legend Kevin Schwantz.
Also on show for the first time in NZ will be the famous Konig Motorcycle that Kiwi Kim Newcombe led the 1973 500cc World Championship on. From the UK, former Norton rider Dave Croxford will demonstrate a 1975 Norton Cosworth 750cc racer.
Up to 350 motorbikes will compete in over 40 races at the festival. On demonstration will be the Britten V1000, and on Sunday a flying display by Garth Hogan's World War II warbird P40 Kittyhawk.
