The Vodafone Warriors take on the Toyota North Queensland Cowboys in their final pre-season trail at North Harbour Stadium.

Vodafone Warriors coach Ivan Cleary stressed the value of the trial in the club's 2009 plans. "We want to field the best possible side we can for this trial and it's also important for us that we come up with a winning performance," he said.
The Cowboys, seeking redemption after a disappointing 2008 season, will bring some familiar faces and a few new ones with them. The big attraction is set to be captain and Kangaroo star Johnathan Thurston, who had to savour defeat in the World Cup final against the Kiwis.
The Vodafone Junior Warriors play a trial of their own, playing the Auckland Vulcans in the curtain-raiser, kicking off at 2.15pm.
Children Under 13 years of age are FREE when presenting the voucher which is available from the North Harbour Stadium website.
