The Mint Chicks is one of the big names dominating the New Zealand music scene, after collecting five Tui awards last year for their Crazy? Yes! Dumb? No! album, including for best album and rock group.
Pluto combine elements of modern Sci-fi-delic, rock'n'roll power, pop sensibilities and gliding vocal melodies, to create music that evokes feelings from all parts of the atmosphere. Pluto burst upon the scene with quirky pop/rock ditties like 'Hey Little' and 'She's Jive', to the eerie urban vampire feel of 'Dance Stamina' and the sonic anthem 'Long White Cross' (NZ Music Awards - Single Of The Year 2006).
Funds will help support Wildlife Protection Units(WPUs) in Sumatra's Bukit Tigapuluh National Park in their efforts to protect orang utans, elephants and a diversity of other endangered wildlife.
