Onelove returns to Auckland bigger, better, and more extravagant with TV ROCK's frontman Grant Smilie for the Mobile Disco tour, at one of the countries most revered venues - Toto. - This is no standard club night, it will be a clubbing experience not to forget in true Onelove Melbourne style!

Onelove is Australasia’s most revered club brand. From all facets of dance music culture, Onelove is totally committed with largely successful club nights across Australia, Asia and now New Zealand, its world-class festival Stereosonic, touring the globe’s best talent and operating its own record label distributed by Sony BMG.

The night will features acts: TV ROCK's Frontman Grant Smilie, a Live performance by NZ's rising indie electronic band Charlie Ash, and crowd favourite Dick Johnson, sneak previewing tunes from his brand new album due out later in 2009 under Magik Johnson, as well as the cream of NZs local DJ crop and entertainers!

In addition there will be full Onelove and 70s Disco production and theming on the night, special live screening of Saturday Night Fever, live entertainment, an exclusive special VIP area, Onelove giveaways and more . . .

Grant Smilie (TV ROCK)
According to Mixmag apparently it’s not enough just to DJ anymore. Luckily for Grant, not is he not only one of Australia’s hardest working and in demand DJ’s, he is also an acclaimed producer, radio host and record label owner. One half of TV Rock, Grant as a producer alongside compatriot Ivan Gough have broken all dance records in Australia. TV Rock are regularly heard on the Pete Tong’s Essential Selection and have recently collaborated with Dave Spoon, Dirty South and Richard Dinsdale with a string of releases slated for 2008 on their imprint Bimbo Rock. As well as his busy production schedule, Grant hosts ‘Overdrive’ on the Nova network nationally alongside Vicious Vinyl boss and friend John Course - it is the most listened to dance show in Australia. Grant was voted #1 Victorian DJ in the 2006 Inthemix poll and is also an ambassador for Pioneer Pro DJ in Australasia. Grant regularly mixes Onelove’s ever popular mixed compilation CD series and is firm Onelove favourite in the DJ booth.

Charlie ASH (Live)
The New Zealand Music Scene is thriving and Charlie Ash is exploding out from it. This rising, cool, quirky indie electronic group is a four-piece band with super charged, sexy vocals and music that encompasses dance, punk, rock, and pure fun. Formed in 2005, Charlie ASH consists of two original punkette's Mailee Mathews and Rosie Riggir, and Guitarist Dave Khan, and Drummer Ben Michelson.

The bands exploding creativity has produced New Zealand's first 3D video Ah-hA and an award winning musical (BOX). Their music have caught the eyes of the likes of Magik Johnson, Fiord & Module who have recently remixed the bands tracks. Just released their fourthcoming album and are set to tour Europe in June. Make sure you come and check them out at Onelove Mobile Disco. They're set to skyrocket in 2009!
