LATE 01: Waitangi Eve explores New Zealand's progressive identity in a panel discussion moderated by Talk Talk's Finlay Macdonald. Music is provided by the prolific DJ Submariner in Auckland Museum's stunning Atrium.
The acclaimed Moana Maniapoto performs her distinctive style of politically conscious music with Moana & the Tribe; their hypnotic performances having captured audiences from local marae to Russian theatres. The evening also includes the luminary experimental rock group Little Bushman, hailed as one of this country's most exciting live acts. A cash bar and food are available.
The LATE at the Museum series, on the first Thursday of every month, features provocative discussion on contemporary themes, with DJs, bands and artists performing in Auckland Museum's Atrium and galleries.
