A hilarious comedy not to be missed!

Tracy, (Sarah-Jayne Phillips) who still lives at home with her parents, discovers she is pregnant to her gormless boyfriend Bobby (Tyler Read), and is unsure how best to share her news. She believes her mum, Elsie, (Helen Burns) will be stoic and supportive once she gets over the shock, but her dad Idris (John Kelleher), who is in a permanent state of hypochondria, will need much more delicate handling.

Thank goodness for Gran (June Britton), who lives in the upstairs bedroom and is full of schemes to ease the way! After Idris accidentally overhears their plans and, being completely self absorbed, concludes that they are talking about him and he only has a short time to live, enter next door neighbour, mischief-maker Maisie (Julie Taylor), mother of gormless son Jeffrey (Zane Fleming), who is learning the art of gossip at his mother’s apron strings.

Maisie takes advantage of Idris’ vulnerable state and takes the opportunity to declare her long term yearning for him, just as Elsie returns from a spot of hospital visiting. Things definitely need to be sorted out!
