The Whangamata Summer Festival has been hosting this event for over ten years. It is the largest market in the region and is a myriad of sights, sounds and smells.
With food, drink, craft, instruments, jewellery, fun rides for the children, and much, much more. The Craft Market is attended by thousands of locals and holidaymakers and is set in three fields of Williamson Reserve, just behind the Surf Club. There is sun and shade, parking and toilets and a cafe. What more could one want?
This year we're following the Market Day with Chet O'Connell and his band of country and rock musicians, free music 8pm - 11pm on stage in Williamson Park. This night of entertainment is brought to you by the money fund raised all year by our tireless committee ... the music continues each night until Jan 2nd 2010. Six nights of free entertainment, plus a daytime kids programme from 10am each day of the Festival 29th Dec - 2nd Jan. See you there!
