To celebrate the end of their nationwide tour promoting their album Isolation is the New Party, Tommy and the Fallen Horses will be finishing off with a free gig at The Southern Cross, Wellington – from 8pm Friday 18th December!

***** “In 35 years of reviewing this (Isolation is the New Party) is the best thing to come out of this country” - Mike Alexander, Sunday Star Times

The Fallen Horses are; John Savage on drums, Clifford Leatherbarrow on bass, and Finn Johansson on lead guitar. They integrate seamlessly into Tommy’s songs, supporting his stunning voice and captivating lyrics. With a unique alt-country, indie-pop sound, they cast a melodic spell like no other.

Tommy and The Fallen Horses’ new album Isolation is the New Party, is Tommy’s finest to date and features NZ music icons Wayne Mason and Dave Long, as well as members of The Phoenix Foundation, Fat Freddy’s Drop and a host of other talented locals. The album was engineered by Nick McGowan, mixed by Lee Prebble, and mastered by Mike Gibson.

Isolation is the New Party is an alt-country record of finely crafted Americana and indie-pop. While it is an alternative record, indie in every sense, the raw ingredients of the album are simply good old fashioned rock, folk, pop, and country, with a 70’s singer-songwriter vibe holding it all together. Nick Bollinger, rock journalist from The Listener and National Radio, called it “The best thing I’ve heard in a long time.”
