Come to this fascinating lecture as part of the opening weekend of the stunning exhibition A Day in Pompeii. Go behind the scenes of one of the world’s greatest archaeological landscapes with archaeologist Dr Patrick Greene, who has worked at sites in Pompeii, Herculaneum, Oplontis, and Stabiae. These sites are not normally accessible to the public, so this lecture takes you on a privileged tour.

Dr Greene is CEO of Museum Victoria in Melbourne, Australia. He directed the excavation of Norton Priory in Cheshire, England, from 1972 to 1982. He has worked in Roman sites in Britain and has studied archaeological sites throughout the world. He is also an Honorary Professorial Fellow of the University of Melbourne.
