Spring is here and the crack of the baseball bat is resonating across the ballparks of Auckland. The 2009 Spring Shield is in full swing!
The Auckland Premier Baseball season rolls on this weekend with the top players from the Auckland competition taking to the field in the sixth and final round robin games of the Spring Shield. Only one week till the final!
With both spots in the final still up for grabs, all teams will be giving it their all this weekend down at the ballparks. McLeod Park again hosts the 2008 rematch with the West City Wildcats at home to the Angels at the McLeod Park diamond. First pitch will be thrown down at 10am.
Get there early to support your boys.
McLeod Park is now an even greater place to spend a Sunday, so grab your friends and family, bring a picnic and some sunscreen, and get down to your local ballpark at McLeod Park to check out the action.
