Spring is here and the crack of the baseball bat is resonating across the ballparks of Auckland. The 2009 Spring Shield is in full swing!
The Auckland Premier Baseball season rolls on this weekend with the top players from the Auckland competition taking to the field in the fifth round of the Spring Shield.
The West City Wildcats will be looking towards finalising a spot in the Spring Shield final by taking out the double header this weekend against a gritty Cola Yeh team in which promises to be two great games of baseball down at the McLeod Park diamond. First pitch will be thrown down at 10am, with the second game scheduled to start at 2pm
Get there early to support your boys.
McLeod Park is now an even greater place to spend a Sunday, so grab your friends and family, bring a picnic and some sunscreen, and get down to your local ballpark at McLeod Park to check out the action.
The boys of summer are back in town.
