Spring is here and the crack of the baseball bat is resonating across the ballparks of Auckland. The 2009 Spring Shield Final is here!

The Auckland Premier Baseball spring season concludes this weekend with the top players from the Auckland competition taking to the field in the final of the Spring Shield.

McLeod Park hosts the finals with the 3rd vs 4th playoff at 10am.
The Howick Sky Rangers take on the Angels to battle for the minor positions after both taking wins off each other during the season.
The Spring Shield final will then get underway at 2pm, which sees the top teams of West City Wildcats and Howick Cyclones take to the diamond to battle it out for the title of Spring Shield champion!

Get there early to support your boys.
McLeod Park is now an even greater place to spend a Sunday, so grab your friends and family, bring a picnic and some sunscreen, and get down to your local ballpark at McLeod Park to check out the action.
