Roadside Attractions: Blackout Crew & André Harris

Roadside Attractions is exactly what it says and is all encompassing. We have used our imagination to bring you something a little different on each and every lunch hour throughout the festive season. Playing right in the centre of town outside the Great Lake Centre on Tongariro St. It's the perfect spot to grab a takeout coffee and lunch from one of the many Cafes, wander down Horomatangi St, over the road and relax.

Todays act is Blackout Crew & André Harris. André Harris has become a name synonymous with energetic, groundbreaking live performance. He has been Beatboxing for 4 years, and has performed in schools, competitions and festivals throughout New Zealand. At the age of 19, André is already taking the Vocal Percussion world by storm. He brings his unique, powerful performance to all people, performing in venues from primary schools to stadiums. Not restricted by genres, André fuses elements of Hip Hop, Dub, and Drum & Bass for your listening pleasure. A pioneer in his art form, André uses a Loopstation to bring multi-layer sound-scapes from his face to yours.
