Carols by Candlelight

Rotorua Geyserland Lions Club will be holding Carols by Candlelight again this year. It will be an enjoyable celebration of Christmas for families and children.

Last year the event was staged among the trees in Kuirau Park, next to Ranolf Street, opposite Rotorua's Public Hospital, after 4 years on the Village Green. Because of the success of last year's event Kuirau Park will be used again this year.

Song sheets will be published in the preceding Tuesday edition of the Rotorua Review. Candles and holders will be available at the venue for a gold coin donation, or you can bring your own. Bring a chair or a rug, and warm clothing. There will be food and drink stalls set up on site.

The Rotorua Symphonic Band will commence playing at 7 pm, and the Carols programme will commence at 7.20. Local entertainers will perform and lead the carol singing, and the Funky Monkeys from Hamilton will be here again to entertain the children. Candles will be lit at 8.50.

Come early to make sure you get near the action and pack in together to make room for as many as possible.
