Christmas At The Bowl 2009

This is Taranaki’s celebration of Christmas in the beautiful setting of the world acclaimed TSB Bowl of Brooklands scheduled on Sunday 13th December 2009. “SANTA'S WORLD" celebrates the spirit of Christmas with a host of local talent guaranteed to entertain the whole family so make a diary note now.

Gates open at 5.00pm to this iconic Taranaki venue so bring along the family and your picnic dinner to really enjoy the atmosphere of the whole evening. Pre-show entertainment starts at 6.30pm and then the biggest Taranaki Variety Show this year at 8.00pm!

Marigold, her magical faerie friends and Grimace will be in attendance to meet with the children and collect their letters to Santa prior to the show. Glen Bennett and Morris West are the two guest emcees and of course Santa himself will be making an exciting entrance sometime during the evening so be prepared. It is truly a great variety show that will have you singing, clapping, dancing and moonwalking along.

Entry is by gold coin donation only and complimentary candles with holders and songbooks will be distributed. This is a night to arrive early, bring the picnic hampers, the family and the rugs for a Christmas Spectacular. At the conclusion of the show, approximately 9.30pm, sit back, look skyward and enjoy our Christmas At The Bowl Fireworks Extravaganza and then there is the opportunity to view the wonderful TSB Bank Festival of Lights in Pukekura Park.
