Start your evening with a picnic in the park enjoying some cool tunes as you wait for the Gateway-To-The-Top-Of-The-World to open at 8pm. Enjoy some wacky art performances and crazy installations in the trees as you make your way to the gathering at the top of the hill.
Hang out at the top, soak up the view and help create magic and music. Let your lantern light your path and guide you down to the final wonder of the night. Get creating and make a homemade lantern, using a battery powered light to avoid fire risk. Bring warm clothing. Children under 13 must be supervised by an adult.
The Nelson Mail Lantern Making at the Suter is a great way to start the evening. From 6pm - 7.30pm enjoy the festive atmosphere and join the merry men as they lead you to the magical gateway.
