Say Goodbye to The Naughties With Supergroove

Supergroove leave the naughties behind and celebrate the new decade with their highly extroverted stage show at Butler’s Reef. Their summer road trip continues to the Coromandel for the visual and aural explosion of Supergroove and Lugar Boa together at the Coroglen Tavern.

Bursting on to the Auckland live scene at the dawn of the 90s, Supergroove revolutionised local modern rock. Creating a string of classic kiwi anthems they generated a staggering 6 Top 10 hits including 'Scorpio Girls' and 'Sitting Inside My Head', 'Can't Get Enough' and 'You Gotta Know.’

Due to popular demand, Supergroove reformed in 2007 to sell out shows and a national support tour for Crowded House. This reunion includes New Zealand Hip Hop icon Che Fu, Joe Lonie, Nick Atkinson and Karl Steven. Their fans proved that they Can’t Get Enough and Supergroove have continued on the road ever since, even making it to the Motherland to play an epic show at London’s Toast Festival.

On the 2nd of January, the intensive energy and stage antics from glam rock Lugar Boa warm up for Supergroove. Lugar Boa’s founder Jimmy Christmas warns us - “Supreme sounds and sexy shennanigans are a certainty as the Boa hit the Coroglen with Supergroove for a hip- shaking-mind-massacre.”
