The Vintage Jazz Band at The Gables Tavern is proudly hosted by the Auckland Jazz and Blues Club.

The Vintage Jazz Band got together in the mid 70’s to play those great Traditional Jazz tunes made famous by the likes of Armstrong, Jelly Roll Morton and Hoagy Carmichael etc.

The band consists of:

Lindsay Meech - Trumpet
Bob Ward - Trombone
Laurie Stringer – Clarinet
Graeme Saker – Bass
Les Sims - Banjo
Tony Parker - Drums
