Christmas Concert - Brass & Barbershop

The Trusts Waitakere Brass will close their 2009 concert series with a special Christmas Concert at Glen Eden Playhouse Theatre. Bring the children to sing along as the band play all your favourite Christmas carols. This year we are delighted to announce that we have secured The City of Sails Barbershop Chorus to perform with the band at this concert.

The City of Sails Barbershop Chorus is an award-winning vibrant group of male singers of all ages and backgrounds. The Chorus sings a wide repertoire of songs in tight, exciting, a cappella, 4-part harmony. Those who have had the privilege of seeing and hearing the Chorus will bear testimony that they give their all, and leave their audience enthralled. So book your tickets early as this joint concert is guaranteed to sell out fast.

Musical Director, Steven Booth, has prepared an entertaining programme of traditional and contemporary Christmas music guaranteed to delight the audience.

There will be refreshments and a Christmas raffle with some stunning prizes to be drawn on the day including a huge hamper.

The last time the band had a concert at this venue they had a full house so get your tickets early.
