McDonald’s is attempting to create a Guinness World Records™ record in Christchurch this coming Tuesday, 1 December when they will use more than 20,000 eggs to cook the world’s ‘Largest Scrambled Egg’.
Held on the first official day of summer, Christchurch residents are invited to come down to Cathedral Square for the official weighing of the cooked eggs, and if all goes to plan, see a world record being made in their city. The public can then stay and enjoy a free breakfast in Cathedral Square on McDonald’s.
Time:
7.15am Event opens, watch the last of the cooking
7.30am Weighing of the egg and results announced
7.45 – 9am Join us anytime for breakfast in the Square
To attempt making the world’s ‘Largest Scrambled Egg’ McDonald’s will use:
• More than 20,000 eggs
• 100 litres of cream
• A custom made cooking vessel (5.4m x 5.4m and 150ml deep)
