The Cambridge Christmas Festival Society Incorporated is run by a dedicated group of women who work all year to produce the Festival. The Cambridge Christmas Festival is held in the Town Hall for two weeks in December. The Town Hall will be 100 years old on 14th December 2009 so our theme this year is 'A Century of Christmas in Cambridge'. The Town Hall will be beautifully decorated to depict this theme. We have a Christmas shop that sells a wonderful range of gifts and decorations, homemade jams and chutneys. Local school children and other well known choirs give recitals at selected times during the day and evening. The Tea shop offers light refreshments, including Christmas fare. All money raised is donated each year to local Cambridge and Waikato Charities.
A trip to Cambridge is a great way to spend a December Day. The dates are: 5th - 11th December, 10.00am - 6.00pm and 11th - 19th December 10.00am 8.30pm.
