Guinness Pint Masters Final 2009

• Ten finalists from five pubs across New Zealand are currently competing for the Pint Master 2009 title
• The two winners of each regional final head to Auckland to compete in the finals on Thursday, 3 December 2009 at the Empire Tavern
• In addition to receiving the title of NZ Pint Master 2009, the winners receive entry into the global Pint Master 2009 competition, and the chance to be the global Pint Masters for 2009 and a trip for two to Dublin to tour the Guinness brewery
• It is important to highlight the skills involved in pouring a pint to ensure New Zealanders are getting the best quality Guinness for their money
• A bad pour can affect not only the taste, but the whole drinking experience – New Zealanders deserve to enjoy the great taste of Guinness that comes with a well-poured pint
• The Pint Master competition encourages bartenders to strive for perfection and consumers to recognise the unique skill involved in pouring a pint of Guinness
