Beervana 2009 is a sampling event for the public, featuring New Zealand brewers and well known celebrity chef Martin Bosley. Held on 28 and 29 August at the Wellington Town Hall, this event is intended to educate guests on beer styles and the art of beer and food matching, and offers the opportunity to meet brewers.
Tickets will be available from 5 June 2009 through Ticketek.
Beervana is part of BrewNZ 2009, a week long celebration of beer and brewing held in Wellington in the last week of August. Showcasing all that’s best in beer, BrewNZ incorporates Beervana and the BrewNZ New Zealand Beer Awards:
An international beer competition featuring entries from over 60 breweries. Local and international beers will be judged over three days by a panel of experts led by US based judge David Logsdon. The competition culminates in an awards evening on 27 August.
