He’s just back from a concert in New York.

Matthew Marshall, one of New Zealand’s leading guitarists and versatile musicians performs solo guitar with electronics in a dazzling display of virtuosic pyrotechnics.

Featuring music from USA, New Zealand, Australia, Brazil and France and combined with an innate musicality and a natural ability to communicate with his audience, Matthew performs in a variety of musical genres from solo classical to orchestral to jazz to rock to contemporary avant-garde.

Matthew Marshall’s performances have been acclaimed worldwide including appearances in the Purcell Room London, the Konzerthaus Berlin, Teatro Juarez Mexico as well as performances with the Berlin Chamber Orchestra, the Kemerovo Philharmonic in Russia and the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra.

Matthew has also recorded nine CDs of solo, chamber and orchestral music and has been recording for Radio New Zealand since the age of 17.
