Mark Strange is the Senior Conservator of Photographs, National Library of New Zealand. He has worked closely with Puke Ariki on the conservation of the Swainson/Woods Collection and is one of the most knowledgeable people in the country on photography and photographic processes.

This event is part of the "Fixated: Photography Through History" exhibition at Puke Ariki (31 July – 26 October 2009).
