The Tertiary Challenge is a yearly event where all Northern Tertiary Institutes come together to compete in a variety of sports over one day.

The WSU Tertiary Challenge will be held at The University of Waikato, Hamilton. The aim of the WSU Tertiary Challenge is a fun, social, mixed one-day sporting event, with maximum participation from all the tertiary institutions in the Northern Region (north of Taupo).
