Birmingham born and bred, Kevin has always been an acoustic music fan. He began running and organising clubs, open mic nights, concerts, outdoor festivals and 3 televised music performance programmes. Then at the age of 40 he picked up the guitar with a little help from a friend, hit the ground running and hasn’t looked back. Kevin now plays in folk clubs all over the Birmingham/black country area and a lot of the festivals.

His music is country/folk based and the mix is best described as eclectic, including covers of Dylan, Cohen, Richard Thompson, John Hyatt, Steve Earl and Guy Clark – but you won’t be hearing the well known numbers.

Kevin released a CD of original songs on the occasion of his 50th birthday in 2001 and had a track from this included on a compilation CD of local artists.
