A Classical Beethoven programme featuring the Prometheus Overture, Piano Concerto No.1, Ah Perfido aria and Symphony No. 8.
Especially for this concert, Manukau Symphony Orchestra welcomes guest conductor Eugene Albulescu, resident of the USA. Eugene will conduct the orchestra from the piano for the Piano Concerto - as this is exactly how Beethoven himself would have done it in the 18th century.
Manukau Symphony Orchestra is also proud to present Auckland soprano Morag Atchison to her first performance in Manukau.
