Songwriter/vocalists Steve Wigz and Gael Ludlow front Riverhead Slide with their own brand of sexy originals and blues standards.

The band features slide and lead guitars (Wigz and Nigel Major), keys (Mike Jensen) and the tight backline - Murray Finer on bass and Pete Ludlow on drums.
Riverhead Slide are possibly New Zealand's most original blues band, favourites at Jazz and Blues festivals around the country.

After a year in production, Riverhead Slide is proud to announce the release of "Riverhead Slide Live", featuring 16 tracks including old and new material, recorded live at Centrestage, Orewa.

The release party features a special premiere screening of the DVD, live sets from the band, and special appearances by friends and guest artists from the DVD and our previous albums.

Full band signed copies will be available on the night with $5.00 from each sale being donated to North Shore Hospice.

Doors open at 4pm & the band plays from 7pm.
