The many uses, traditions and qualities of pounamu 'greenstone' will be explored in this free illustrated talk by local jeweller and writer Neil Hanna at the Cornwall Park Information Centre Topics range from the use by Maori for tools and wonderful ornamentation forms and modern art designs today.

Neil will display the many different variations of pounamu and have examples of his beautiful greenstone jewellery to view and explain how he works with this special material.
