Artstation’s latest painting, photography and sculpture exhibition from Wednesday, 19 to Saturday, 29 August will have motion as its central theme.
Organiser, Edward Pye, says that the works displayed will interpret motion in many different ways.
“For the expat artist it could mean the idea of moving through different cultures and lands, while for New Zealand artists it could be interpreted through shape, colour and form,” says Mr Pye.
The multi-medium artworks are coming from South Korea, Wellington and the South Island.
The exhibition will also showcase winning pieces by eight artists whose works were chosen by public vote at the recent Motion 2009 Festival.
This exhibition is in association with Expat Arts, an international online magazine and arts-oriented community.
