Soul Songstress L.A. Mitchell is the inaugral Songwriter in Residence 2009 at The University of Auckland's School of Music. Accomplished soul/jazz songwriter, keyboardist and vocalist, L.A Mitchell will perform her original compositions accompanied by School of Music graduates Cass Mitchell and Alistair Deverick. The evening also includes performances of new works from talented Popular Music students, and guest Andy Smith – guitar.
