Join Noel Herries , a civil engineer involved in the re-development of the Eastern area of Cornwall Park. Noel will lead you on a guided walk to where the former 39th US General Army Hospital was situated in the park and discuss the features dating from the transformation of this area from hospital site to the landscaped park land you see today. The Eastern area is the youngest developed area in Cornwall Park and is host to picnics and music concerts in the Band Rotunda and outdoor weddings in the summer.
