See the vintage 'Shacklock Coal Range Oven' in action inside the historic Huia Lodge/Cornwall Park Information Centre, as well as a display of information all about these old stoves and how people used to cook before electricity.

Learn all about these once essentail kitchen wonders, that not only were used to cook and bake meals , but also provided hot water, dryed clothes and other items such as muddy boots, not least keeping the home warm in winter!

A coal range expert and restorer, Steve Williams will be at the Information Centre between 1-3pm to answer any questions.
