The 21st Annual Southern Alps Country Music Awards, a competition for all ages.

Twenty-four sections, entries being taken now (close 19 March 2009). Sections include vocal, gospel, traditional, country rock, variety, instrumental, fortay plus, open sections.

Auditions all day Saturday and Sunday from 8.00am. Saturday night at the RSA Rooms, Wai-iti Room from 7.30pm (free admission).

Final concert Sunday 6.00pm at Caroline Bay Hall Timaru.
