The International Chinese New Talent Singing Championship 2009 is celebrating its 6th anniversary in New Zealand. The event has attracted thousands of people each year with more and more local kiwis attending calling it the "Chinese Version of NZ Idol".

The Finals night is the climax of the Singing Championships, featuring the finalists and top TV stars from Hong Kong performing during the show –a star-studded extravaganza.

The winners of the contest and the TV stars from Hong Kong will also participate in 'Summer Motion Carnival 2009', A FREE event day to meet and greet local Chinese communities at TelstraClear Pacific Events Centre on Sunday 19th April 2009.
