OCTANE is back once again for another installment in dancefloor experiences. this time, for the 4th birthday celebrations we have recuited two of the best harddance DJ's in the world. The Legendary PAUL GLAZBY is back to deliver a huge set of cutting edge tunes, seamlessly mixed together in his energetic style. With him is BEN STEVENS, the heir to the vicious circle empire and a musical leader in the scene worldwide. this is the first time in 4 years these two have appeared toegether in NZ and to add to this they will each be performing one hour sets, as well as a one hour BACK TO BACK set inbetween!! The only venue fitting for this foray into hi energy heaven is Studio on K rd, and it will be decked out in style for the night on Friday 3rd April.

Paul Glazby is the Don, the ‘hard’ in hard house, the guy who conquered an entire scene almost overnight with his remix of Quench’s Dreams. The minstrel of mayhem who led the way from day one, when he boldly stated his intentions, and with every beat, every mix, in every set, at every club, on almost every continent, with every record he has made or played, he has kept his word.

The powerful punch Paul packs in the mix has graced albums on other labels, such as Tidy’s Insomnia, Hard Dance Republic and TW9 Live, while he has had singles snapped up by greats – Tidy, Nukleuz and Recharge.

Paul has also contributed to all of the major summer festivals such as Global Gathering, Creamfields, Gatecrasher Summer Sound System and the globally-renowned Dance Valley.

Chances are the first time you heard the name of Ben Stevens, it was none other than Paul Glazby tipping the aspiring DJ for the top.

And in the half a decade or so since he first grabbed the attention of the revered Vicious Circle head honcho, Stevens has never had any problem living up to such high expectations.

Glazby’s faith in the youngster saw him land pivotal roles in the development of the Vicious Circle stable, both in A&R and event management, and as a result Stevens has a sense of professionalism that belies his 24 years.

The abilities and talents of Ben Stevens are without question: whether producing tunes or playing them, he knows exactly how to work a dancefloor and raise the roof off a club.
