Tuesday nights @ Roasted Addiqtion are back and are now hosted by "King Street Sounds", Each Tuesday we will provide a resident King Street Selektor along with boosted in-house sound & visuals.

With free entry & $4 house wine & beer specials its the perfect antidote to post monday blues.

With seasoned experienced DJs & future prizes, competitions, soundclashes & live acts in the pipeline we hope you will join us in building a friendly neighbourhood midweek vibe, Kingsland Style. Just a place for friends to hang out and jam/play records etc.
we'll be spanning the musical spectrum from 70s and 80s reggae productions and contemporary roots dancehall and hiphop to cutting edge forward thinking future dub, ruff old skool uk garage, early 90's jungle/hardcore, drum n bass, dubstep, dub techno, weird electronica. etc.etc.!!

Kicking us off in fine style as resident King Street selector - DJ Art Official (Newtown Sound/Anand Naran) is from Wellington and recently has joined Selecto on Base FM's 'Rewind' show. With his roots in hiphop and jazz, on this show he presents a full spectrum of reggae music.

When not doing radio, Art operates Newtown Sound (www.newtownsound.co.nz) - a reggae sound system inspired events and production company linked very closely with NiceUp.Org.Nz (www.niceup.org.nz), which has worked with some of Aotearoa's best hiphop and reggae musicians. NiceUp.Org.Nz is the first website live-icated to reggae music in NZ and one of its foundation objectives is to unite the reggae massive here in Aotearoa
