On Thursday 30th April, Barack Obama's 1st 100 days in office ends.
Amnesty International has been running a campaign in the form of a check list of issues they believe Barack should address in his 1st 100 days as President.
This awareness & funds raising concert at The London Bar will review the check-list, seeing what has been achieved & what needs to be done.
While we're at it we will look at John Key's 100 days - it will have been two months since his 1st 100 days ended but he will be two extra months up on Obama to make good on his promises.
Now don't worry. The main focus is on a fun, informal night so there wont be hours of speeches berating the audience. The music will be to the fore.
Entry to 100 Days – The Obama Gig is by a donation of $10 or more on the door.
All proceeds to the Auckland Central Amnesty Group for their Free Ruben Saiya campaign.*
The artists in the 100 Days concert have generously donated their energy & time for the gig.
