Over 120 musicians from the combined bands of the Royal New Zealand Air Force will take to the stage of Wellington’s Michael Fowler Centre for the much anticipated, annual Air Force Proms.
The event, starting at 2.00pm on Sunday 14 September, promises to be a feast of music, ranging from the traditional to the modern. Guest performers include vocalist Bella Kalolo and the exciting percussion group STRIKE.
Audiences will be able to sing along to old proms favourites such as ‘Land of Hope and Glory’, be wowed by the skill of the drums corps and enjoy the merriment of Fred Dagg’s gumboot song.
