Involved in the Wellington Music Scene?

Connect up and have an "ideas and solutions" jam session with others passionate about the music scene in Wellington 4-10pm Tuesday 2 September at Capital E in Civic Square.

Wellington produces great music and talent, no doubt. But lets face it, there's things we know would make it even better. A central information hub with a real person? Help with venues? More support? A proper network of key people who could work together to make things happen?

Well, the new City Arts team at Wellington City Council is providing us with the space to get together, to chuck ideas around and make some plans about how we can get things happening. Oh, and City Arts will also shout us a feed! So, if you have ever had an idea on what we need in Welly, or just want to network with some key people in the scene and hear about what's new, get along.

(And so we make sure there is enough food for everyone, send an email to arts@wcc.govt.nz saying you're coming to the Music Session, before Friday 29 August.)
