Celebrate conservation at Wellington Zoo on Sunday 14 September and meet some of New Zealand’s most fascinating locals. Enjoy a fun day out for all ages and take advantage of this special opportunity to meet our unique native and endangered wildlife.
Take part in our New Zealand native quiz and go in to the draw to win a Zoo Crew annual pass to Wellington Zoo. There will be loads of activities and entertainment throughout the day which include face painting, talks and live music.
The Department of Conservation will be giving some presentations on our local species such as the giant weta, little blue penguins and New Zealand lizards. TVNZ6 will also be here showing special screenings of ‘Meet the Locals’ and giving away prize packs throughout the day.
