Ellerslie is putting the magic back into spring with the eighth annual Ellerslie Spring Fairy Festival on the first Saturday of Spring.
Ellerslie’s Main Street will be run over with hundreds of children, their parents and up to 40 fairies, pixies and wizards sprinkling fairy dust, glitter face painting, giving out wishing stones and sharing wonderful stories and songs.
The Festival is now a well loved feature of the Auckland Event Calendar and has become so popular that Ellerslie’s Main Street is closed to traffic to accommodate the growing number of children and their parents.
It’s a fairy dream come true with many children dressing up and joining in the magical spirit that surrounds the Festival.
So lighten your heart, spread your wings and come and celebrate the magic of Spring at the Ellerslie Fairy Festival.
